Sports Massage

     Exercise creates micro trauma and slight swelling to the muscle tissue, and massage helps reduce it. Massage also enhances circulation, which aids in the healing process.
     Sports massage can be done either pre-event or post-event. Pre-event helps reduce the risk of injury. Massaging these connective tissues warms the connective tissue, which is likely to be torn or overstretched without the support of massage. Post-event massage, on the other hand, helps reduce soreness, maintains flexibility and reduces cramping.
